Half your team is casual, and the roster changes every week.
Availability shifts with study and second jobs.
You find out you are out of oat milk when a customer asks for it.
It is always the small things you notice too late.
Someone forgets to clock out, and you are fixing it on Sunday night.

Cafe rostering and stock questions
Can my baristas swap shifts without texting me?
Yes, a team member can ask to swap a shift, a colleague takes it and a manager approves. You can also leave a shift open for team members to claim.
Can Cord8 tell me when milk is running low?
Yes, Cord8 can help you keep milk in stock. Set a minimum level per product, or a default for a location. Cord8 suggests how much to order from recent use, supplier lead time, minimum order and pack size. For a product with no history yet, it works from your low-stock level. Get notified when a product is out, below zero or about to expire.
Does Cord8 work on a phone?
Yes, Cord8 runs in the browser on a phone or computer, and your team can share one device by the coffee machine, each signing in with a store PIN.
