Legal
Terms
The terms that will apply when you use Cord8.
Last updated: 7 November 2026 (draft)
Draft. This page is a draft waiting for legal review. It is not yet in force and may change. Nothing here is an offer, and no one is bound by it.
Who provides Cord8
Draft. Cord8 is provided by XE TECHNOLOGIES PTY. LTD., ABN 93 685 624 711, ACN 685 624 711.
Using Cord8
Draft. Sign-up is not open yet, so no one is bound by these terms. The full terms for using Cord8 will be published here after legal review. They are expected to cover who may use a workspace, what the account owner is responsible for, acceptable use, ending your use, and our responsibilities and limits.
Plans, prices and billing
Draft. The pricing page shows the plans and prices. Prices are in Australian dollars. Prices are ex GST. GST at 10% is added when you pay. The plan cards and add-ons also show the GST-inclusive amount.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, and the annual price is the amount charged for the year. Extra users and extra locations are added to the plan and follow the same billing period. The wording for price changes is still to be written.
Draft. A first paid plan is expected to start with a 14-day trial, and a card is required. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the plan price plus GST is charged when the trial ends and then each billing period. You can cancel in Billing. If you turn off every product at every store, your subscription ends at the end of the period you have paid for (or at the end of the trial). If a payment is overdue at that point, it ends straight away. We do not refund the unused part of a period you chose to end. This does not limit any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Our intention is that these terms will not take away any right you have under Australian consumer law.
Scan credits
Draft. Scanning an invoice uses scan credits. Each image we read uses 1 credit. The pricing page describes which credits are used first, how long pack credits last, that the credit for an image we cannot read is returned, and that a scan that was read keeps its credit spent if it is later deleted or rejected. Those rules are intended to form part of these terms.
Still to be set before these terms take effect
Draft. These points are not set in this draft:
- An address for notices, and the governing law.
- Limits on our responsibility, and how a workspace can end its use.
- How much notice we give of a price change.
- Refunds of unused pack credits, and what happens to pack credits if Inventory ends before they expire.
